Is it worth changing to OE2010?

As the majority of clubs are currently using OE2003 and it works why go to the expense of updating to OE2010?

1. The ability to input data directly from Eventor easily where OE2003 is nigh on impossible makes it worth the effort and cost. Organisers will not have sleepless nights performing runarounds. Data from Eventor goes directly into OE2010 "in the blink of an eye"

2. OE2010 provides result export in a form that Eventor is happy with.

It is worth the cost!

Why not look at some other solutions, MEOS has integrated Eventor support and most new products also support the XML formats used by newer entry software and results/analysis software.

I can't see the value of staying on OE2003 if it's a bit ugly to use with your other software. There is plenty of choice these days , both free and commercial. Ideally you need a piece of software that works for all the events you stage most years, including any weird events like a mixed score and line event, relays, a billygoat, chasing starts... now that's a big ask.
